Hurricane Wreckage

Those are 4' in diameter reinforced cement pipes. They were filled with soil and planted, as a breakwater. The hurricane did not did not see them as barriers at all. It came through and had a particular vengeful time with this house. I believe that it was a very poor job of stucco over wood, with no wire backing, so it just came right off. It was a beautiful place, I am sure, but now it is a total loss.... Best not to try to fool Mother Nature. While having a place on the ocean makes my heart beat faster, I think that inland is a better choice. And of course having Doublewide somewhere not too far away!
